Privacy notice

Who we are. DWAL Motors is a trading name of Vision Transit Autos Ltd (company no. 17037397), Unit 5, Wednesfield Way Industrial Estate, Well Lane, Wolverhampton WV11 1XP. We are the controller of personal data you give us through this website. Contact: dwalmotors@gmail.com or 07351 511210.

What we collect

When you send a booking request, enquiry or message we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address (if given), vehicle registration and details, and your message.

Why we use it

Only to respond to your request: to arrange work on your vehicle, give you a quote, or deal with your enquiry about a vehicle we have for sale. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries. If you ask us to tell you when MOTs start or when a vehicle you want comes in, we'll contact you about that only.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. It's stored securely with our website host (Cloudflare) and, if you email us, our email provider. We may share details with parts suppliers or other providers only where needed to carry out work you've asked for.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to any work are deleted within 12 months. Records of work we carry out are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, legal and accounting purposes (normally 6 years).

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A single essential cookie is used only when our staff log in to manage the website.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by contacting us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
